I just went to the local auto supply and retrieved
the following code from the ECU
"Random Multiple Misfires"
We don't know how old this code is so we reset it to see if it comes back...
Incidently I just replaced the plugs (last week)
and examined the wires, (they looked ok) But I need some advise on my next move. The truck has 71K on it and the dealer doesn't show much work.
Thanks in advance
Gordon

just replace the plugs wires , i had the same problem at approx the same miles.....
i used a universal kit purchased from "summit"
the blue wires 8mm and cheap....
works beautifull.
by the way that problem set a code but does not lite the trouble lite.....
i has intermittently a loss of power but noother indications....
so anyway i pulled the codes, and replaced the wires and all is dandy now
gud luck
