What is it? What does it consist of? The one I'm refering to is sold by Safari Gard, Does it suck? Does anyone else make a similar product? |

One interesting note: I've never seen drop kits on any other type of truck, just Rovers. Doubt that the wheel just sitting on the ground with no spring attached does that much good for traction. This can allow the truck to rock back and forth also. To get more articulation(with traction) than the stock LR set up would require a longer spring which is about as soft as stock spring. My truck has 1.5" long rubber drop out cones which are made by LR. This allows me to tune the shock travel so that he spring can fall 1/2" out of the mount, then the rubber cone reseats the spring. Rockware Shock mounts and etc... It has worked very good for my truck with no problems. |
