Greg, I have looked over the information you have posted in the tech section about turn signal light relocation on the DII. www.discoweb.org/rearlightwire/index.htm I went out and purchased two of the following items, I believe that they should be similar to the Drawtight ones you mention. I then cut and soldered the proper wires. 2-Pack HY-POWER DIODE www.roadmasterinc.com/electrical_diodes.html The problem I have is that I can turn on the turn signal by itself and it works fine, however when the brake pedal is pressed and the turn signal is on the light just stays on constant and does not blink It makes sense that the light would stay on constant when the brake pedal is pressed as the power is going to the bulb in a constant state and the intermittent pulse of the flasher is not displayed due to the constant of the brake. This seems dangerous to me, after all most of the time when you have your turn signal on and are preparing to make a turn you will also hit the brake pedal and not allow a visible display to make other drivers behind you aware that you are making a turn. Did I do something incorrect or is this the way it works for you as well? Thanks, |

Dave, my signal will speed up some when the signal is on and the brake pedal is depressed, but it still blinks, just a little faster. I'm not very "electrically" literate, and don't know the exact difference between a diode and the conversion box, but that's probably your problem. You may want to post another question for some expert advice! |

Hi Greg, Do you have a link or part number for the one you are using? I have looked all over the place for the drawtight one and can not find it. Thanks, |

Dave, let me check tonight. I'll post tomorrow (hopefully with the P/N). But I recently wired my vehicle for a trailer and used a convertoer from Pep Boys. Just a generic converter for (dual lines in-single line out) my trailer harness and it works the same way. You just need something that will combine your turn signal and brake signal into one output. I'll still look tonight though. |

I have had similar cases where my DI had fast blinking lights (too fast). I believe that this is a sign that too much amperage is being sent to that particular light. Dobn't know if there are any side effects or not. |

Damn! Dave, I'm sorry. Forgot to check. I'm writing myself a note and WILL check tonight. |

Dave, it's the 18130 part. You just have to cut off the plug. Sorry it took so long. |

Thanks, Greg I will give that a try. |
