Hi. I need some work done on my truck and I'm not really mechanically gifted myself. Does anybody have a good suggestion of where to take my vehicle (1996 Land Rover Discovery) either around Vancouver or between Nanaimo & Campbell River on the island (haha)?
I just posted one of the problems I'm having in the previous thread, if you're interested.

Andrew,
Just had Aart Van Der Star, UK Trek and Traction 604-888-2813 do some work for me (he is in Langley). Was very good, and it saves paying the stealers rates. Give him a call and if he can't help you he might be able to point you in the right direction.
Tell him his newest client Trevor sent you.

I had Aart Van Der Star do some work on my Discovery last week. He works more on the other "non-Discovery" Land Rovers, but he is a very competent mechanic. He gets a thumbs-up from me for anybody else needing help in the Vancouver area!
He has some REALLY cool vehicles parked around his garage...wow. |
