Just did front brakes on a D1.
Now I need to do a friends D2.
Few questions.
1) on the D1, what is the ACTUAL size of the axle nut. I used a 2 1/8" socket but it was a touch to large. I found a 2 3/32 today which is a touch smaller. Whats the correct size though.

2) WHat size is nut on a D2. Same size?

3) any special sizes, tools needed on the D2. WE are doing rotors and pads. To the pistons just compress in with a clamp?
4) Special bleeding procedure once the job is done or is it pretty standard.
5) Special tightening sequence for the Axle nuts or is it same as D1?
ANything I'm missing?
THanks
Todd

Hub nut size on a D1 is 2 1/16th. I'm not sure of the MM equivalent. I've not done brakes on a D2, so I can't help you on the other questions.

Thanks,
Mike B.
