is teh bilstein shock insttall as simple as, take off old shocks, bolt on new? anything ill run into? thanks in advance joshua |

Joshua: The only trouble you are likely to run into are that the old shock bolts are very likelt to be rusted necessitating some degree of torque. Also, the shock body may turn as you try to loosen the attaching bolts/nuts. Don't be bashful, put a pipe wrench on the body and spin the nut off. You may run into trouble compressing the bushings to get the nuts on. If you do, remove the metal cups, tighten the bushings down, remove the nuts and put the metal cups back in place where they belong and go to town. Paul |
