Muskyman - thanks for the advice. I've also been told that there is an additive that I can put into the cooling system that will change color in the presence of combustion gases.
I don't think it is a very big leak, the cooling system is able to keep it under control most of the time, but long grades or heavy offroad use is when the temp jumps up. On the highway it is fine. And the radiator fluid level has never gone down (though it has overpressurized and blown past the radiator cap on the expansion tank) |
