I have a DII driveshaft which I put in new GKN greaseable U-joints (thats to Darryl for the good deal ) I was thinking could I just use another flange off a DI driveshaft or failing that use another DII drive shaft single U joint end flange to avoid changing the flange on the T-case. Ron |

Ron: I don't believe you can use the DI flange as the u-joints are not dimensionally identical. Most folks who put DII driveshafts on DIs use the DII Flange. Paul |

I think I want to use the flange on the single end of the DII driveshaft on the cv end of the DII shaft. This way it will bolt to any rover t-case --- except a disco II. Ron |

Ron: Let me know if that flange will fit on the universals on the CV jointed end. It was my understanding that this wouldn't work for among other reasons, the universals having different dimensions and the inner construction of the Hobbes joint. |
