Hi List, Each morning when I start my 95 DI i back out of my driveway and then accelrate in D to go down the street. For just about 10 secs or so, the engine has a little trouble with power (as in almost no power) but has no trouble the rest of the day... any ideas? Perhaps i'll change the fuel filter- Thanks for your help! Hunter Looking for an adventure rack (used, cheap and on the east coast) |

I don't know, doesn't sound like a fuel filter issue to me. Maybe an injector not working right until it warms up? The fuel filter doesn't need to warm up, and what your describing is only a problem with a stone cold engine, right? If it were a fuel filter problem I would expect it to be there all day long. |

I'd say your vehicle has a cold, or possibly "morning sickness"... I have no idea if this is a possiblity or not (maybe somebody who actually knows something about vehicles will chime in) but could using too heavy an oil in the winter do anything like this? |
