I have a 99 disco II (60k). A question for anybody who knows. My abs light is coming on amber, the code says its the shuttle valve in the ABS modulator, which according to the dealer can't be repaired ,but replaced. The question is: this light comes on every now and then but does not effect the performance of the ABS, TC or downhill descent, everything works perfectly with warning light on or off. this has been going on for about 10k. I cleaned all electrical connectors to the Modulator and totally exchanged all Brake fluid in system just for good measure. How concerned should I be? Thanks, Craig Oakes |
