This is probably a vague question: can anyone please advice on a noise that I get when I accelerate ('97 Disco SD) that sounds like tapping noise (or even a clucking noise)? It has roughly 68K miles on it. The check engine light came on couple of months ago (yellow/orange color). It sounds like it's coming from alternator or something, but can't isolate. |

BTW, got the check engine light checked out by the dealership and they said it was time to replace the plug wires and clean out the throttle body. The noise existed before the check engine light came on. Thanks. |
