Put down rear driver's side window on my way home last night and now it won't go up. I can hear the motor spinning both up and down when depressing the switch. I am able to manually pull the glass up, though it will not stay this way - and it does not feel loose within the door. Any suggestions - and how the heck do you get the handle / inside panel off to inspect? Thanks much in advance. e |

There are some screws in the door handle. Then pry off carefull not to break the snaps on the door panel. Dont know exactly if your regulator has failed or the motor is gone. |

Inside the door there's a long, horizontal track held in place with one bolt at either end - within track found a broken 3/4" [nylon?] wheel broken in half. This wheel must travel down the track connected to: Looks like there is an arm, geared at one end - should this move when the switch is activated? Mine isn't, but there is still a motor noise when switch is depressed. Cheers, e |

Eric, If it is the rear window don't worry about it, you wont be sitting bach there while driving. Just kidding. That little plastic wheel is probably your culprit. It is a fairly common problem. |
