I need to buy a company car and I was thinking of getting another disco. Has anyone here modified a leased disco? Or am I just talking crazy talk?

I think it would be ok, if you BOUGHT it at end of lease, otherwise you would have to pay the dealer to put it back to stock at end of lease.

I think it would depend on what mods you did.. And if your dealer looked the other way when you take it in for service..

Mine is leased. But I'm gonna buy it afterwards. In fact, my dealer (woodbridge, NJ) seemed quite excited to see the beast after I added the lift.

Same here. I leased mine through LR Woodbridge as well, and started modifying one year into the lease. The service manager told me one time I brought it in for warranty work that the techs were very excited, and actually were arguing about who got to work on it. I bought it at the end of the lease, and there were no issues. If you are returning it, it is of course a different story. The dealership may of course be more lenient if you are getting another Rover from them at lease end....

I am leasing mine I put on a SG bumper and hella 4ks I will probably buy it at the end but if I don't I don't think my dealer would mind. I think it would sell better the way it is now anyway.
