I am looking at installing a new exhaust system on my 96 disco. I am looking at Borla, but have heard that they are loud and can be annoying at highway speeds. I do like the increased HP but i am not wanting a loud loud truck. A good rumble is ok, but even now my harley drives the older folks in my neighbourhood batty already. and that comes out in the summer only. Please any advice is helpful. The other system i was looking at was the NRP system. Again i am not afraid of some more rumble, i just don't want to annoy my family on the highway! thanks!!!

i got a magnaflow to replace the center muffler @ meineke...it was just under $300 with install....like $280 or so...
i would highly recommend it...they eliminated the rear muffler making it cheaper and run more smoothly...

Borla's are pretty loud. I have one on my 97. Loved it at first but I am seriously considering something else now.

Just how much louder is it? I'm looking at getting a new muffler soon as rust is starting to eat a hole in the stock one. I was looking at the Borla. Is it really going to be louder then my already loud worn MTRs growl? I can't hear the radio as I'm going down the highway as it is so just how much worse could it really be?
