I was just wondering does anyone know who ownes a green disco with 33" or 35" in the Portland/Vancouver area. I saw it tonight on hwy 14 in Vancouver. |

That is the one I had seen a little while ago that got me interested in the Discoveries. I hadn't considered the Discoveries up to that point for a 4 door 4x4 to use as a "toy". Thanx Tim. |

Ok, let me shed some ligth on this. Stephen does have an outrageous bobtailed rangie, however, I wa under the impression that is was not running. there is a white rangie pickup floating around as well. I will post a picture of Tims disco and the Rangie pickup for those of you that wish to see. Keep in mind that I do not have pics of Tims disco with large tires. I also dont know whether it is tims disco that your seeing, b/c last time I checked there was no engine in it! Anyways... |

I saw that white bobtail range rover not more than a couple months ago in SE Portland. It looked like it ran fine then. |

Josh - I'm not talking about Steven's rangie. I'm talking about another dude down here. All white, MTR's, ARB, custom sliders (very nice) custom cones, custom bumper (very nice) etc. He lives in Sherwood I think, but his mom lives about 4 blocks from me, so I see him all the time. Nice rig. Where'd Tim and Steven go ?
Yes I'm locked now. Detroit in the rear. Lifted, OME HD's, dunlop mud's, does really well. I go wheelin' about every other week now that I have time. Adventure rack arrives saturday.  I didn't think you were talkin' to me anymore, prick!!?? |

Need new halfshafts. no locker in the front, I still want to have fun. Didn't regear, I have a 5 speed.....mucho better than automatic. I call everybody a prick.

If I had a Rover I would be very interested. Hopefully within 2 months at the most! Somehow I don't think a 1987 Toyota 2WD long bed pickup would quite make it. |

Brian, you just missed a White Manual Disco w/98k for $10,500 - the owner traded it for a CRV!!! -in SW Portland.
Are all you guys in the club? I keep forgetting to come to a meeting and join up.
By the way, who drives a black Series III with a pickup bed? Saw it in SW, near Macadam I think it was if I remember right.

I am looking for a 1994 or a 1995 so I don't have to deal with the GEM system since I plan on doing all the work on the vehicle myself. If anyone knows of one in the area for sale in good condition I would definitly be interested, although it looks like not until the very first of next year :-(. |

The dinner is in Heritage Room at Bridgeport Brewing in NW Portland... MMMmmmmm Ebenezer Ale!
I'm sure if you plan on joining the club, you can more than likely attend. Drop Ed Sanman an email (address in the dinner info section) to see if everything is Kosher. |

I moved up there for almost a year, poor job market sent my arse back to California. I try to get up there as often as I can. Looks like I may make it up there around the 23rd and hopefully stick around through new years provided the time off is available here.

Going to Browns Camp....tillamook forest. Probably get there around 2:30 or so, and wheel for 3 hours or so. Depends how hard it's raining...If it's really bad I may not go....I may wire up my front speaks to my new amp. All depends on the weather.
