i slightly bent the stock alloy rim on my '94 (being stupid, naturally). my tire now loses around 10 lbs per day in pressure. has anyone tried to beat one of these back into shape? were the results favorable or did it crack? i guess i've got nothing to lose if i'll have to buy another one anyway, but i'd like to know the success rate of others who've done the same. |

There are shops who can return the rim to round, unless it's too far gone. I wouldn't seriously try to beat it back into shape and expect it to work. |

I got one of mine straightened for about $70 locally - of course for the prices of wheels flaoting around here lately - you'd be better off picking one up for $50.00 With the popularity of 20" wheels lately - there are shops all over the place doing nothing but straightening rims LOL Bill |
