what do you need to take off mud flaps on a 98 disco?, what kind of tools do you need? i need to take off the front and rear. any help would be appreciated. |

sawzall or hacksaw. Cut off the rivnuts, or just slice or tear the rubber off at the top. |

then sawzall or hack the rivnuts and you'll be able to slide out the rubber intact. Re-mount them on the other vehicle with small nylock nuts & bolts. You'll also want to replace one rear rivnut on each side with a nut & bolt (outrigger support for rear fender). |

I drilled out the nuts. I broke the bit toward the end and used a dremel to hack it off. If I ever decide to put them flaps back on I'll just use wing nuts. Todd |
