I have a '96 Disco that starts running extremely rough after going through a shallow puddle. The dealer here sold me a water ingress kit. It does a good job to keep the water off the computer on the passenger side fender well, but other than that... I'm kinda irritated that it takes about 30 min. for whatever got wet to dry up & start running better. If I drive slowly through the puddle there is no problem. |

Could be crank position sensor on the back of the engine or any other connection from the sensors to the ECU, could be coils, etc. Hard to diagnose, so go through the wiring connections on the engine. |
