I got my 96 disco a couple of months ago and went wheeling for the first time this past weekend. I loved it even though I couldn't get up everything the other trucks did. Mine is still stock. Before I went the truck was fine but now it's sagging down on the passenger side. Is this something that sounds normal? Would it just all of a sudden start leaning or does it take some time to develop that symptom as the springs wear out? What are some other things I might want to check for? The trail we went on was not terribly difficult and I didn't take any hard hits, there was just a lot of snow. I was also considering a 2" lift in the near future. If I do in fact need to replace the springs is the cost much more for taller aftermarket springs than the stock springs? Do I also need new shocks as well? What should I expect for cost? Sorry for all of the questions I'm new at this and need all of the help I can get. Thanks for any help.

it was probably leaning a bit but you never noticed, then giving it a good work out really got things loosened up and now you have the more pronounced lean. it 's common and happens to all the trucks.

an ome lift is the standard lift. it is about the same price as stock and generally rides better when you get new shocks too. chekcout this web site. www.expeditionexchange.com lots of information and a good place to buy from. especially these springs and shocks.

it's a good idea to get the shocks too,

if you get the 2" lift and keep stock tires you're gonna look weird, so plan on getting new tires too... :) it will never end BTW, you keep buy things until you are broke, then you will sell it, buy another and start all over again, enjoy the addiction.
