its rainy season again here in wilmington and time to find new leaks. ive found two so far. i got one coming from under the driver side dash. the water is dripping off of a little black piece in front of the hood release. i ran some water on the top of the driver side and it takes a while but eventually gets there. my second one is coming from the back drivers side. i noticed water dripping from the bottom of my speaker. i removed the speaker and the panel holding it. however, i cant get the seatbelt off to remove that top piece to find my leak source. so if anyone knows where the source for that one may be and how to remove the seatbelt i would appreciate it. thanks a lot. BTW i replaced the pinion oil seal from my earlier post. thanks for all the help. |

dude i am freakin' out...i mean i was about to post the exact same thing...its like the people on this board can read minds... no seriously though...i am not worried about the leak on the hood release but the leak on the passenger side (north american model) rear speaker is leaking...now i took the speaker out cuz i blew it...or so i thought...but maybe the moisture had something to do with it...anyway i am having a new speaker system put in next week...and i don't want water killing my brand new speakers...thanks guys, jess |
