I have a genuine rear ladder and some rivnuts, but I don't have the factory instructions and the tech section seems to leave a few gaps in my mind. What do you use to bolt the top edge of the ladder? Rivnuts or just screws? How long should the rivnut bolts by the door handle be? When using a homemade nut and washer type rivnut tool why is the spacer nut loose? Any good links to a detailed explanation?
