I'm getting ready to bleed the brakes on my '95 Disco with a MityVac bleeder.

The factory service manual says "the pressure must not exceed 4.5 bar" when using a pressure bleeder. The scale on the MityVac is in kPa (metric, I assume) and In.Hg. Of course, the #$%$^@ service manual doesn't give any conversion between bar, kPa or In.Hg.

Anybody know what 4.5 bar = in kPa???

Thanks,

Norm

4.5 bar = 67.5 psi = 132.9 InHg

Boy, I wasn't thinking on that one. I just converted from BAR to Kpa and didn't think about taking it to the US standard.

Good Game Bill!
