Hi I was wondering if there's a quick way to find out if you have the departure angle to clear a ditch without getting out of the car. I have a stock 96 disco and I'm pretty new to usuing it to its full potential (offroad) and I find it annoying to get out of the car to check the rear clearance whenever I have to cross a washout ditch. Is there any quick way such as position of the wheels in the rear view mirror or something? or should I just ease it through until I hear a grinding sound from the exhaust? also, anothre newbie question... what's the widest tire that'll fit in a stock 96 discoI with the 16 in wheels? Thanks |

Adjust the door mirrors so you can watch the rear end caps, cross ditches at 45 degrees |
