sorry for the cross post. What upgrades/repairs would you do? 3.9 w/130k. besides basic fluid's, filters, wheel bearings. Primary use will be DD with some road trips and a few trips towing a trailer. |

Depending on what you have already done.. I would do a complete engine tune.. spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor, Engine oil & filters, drain and fill axels & swivel joints, tranmission fluid flush, brakes (if needed) with fluid flush, water pump, thermostat & hoses (depending on their condition) all of this could be done over the next 3 months, but if none of these things have been done, it'll be great preventative maintenance and you'll be good for another 130kilometers |

Don't forget to renew the U-Joints on the drive shafts. Good cheap insurance. Also, change the timing belt and water pump. Check the brakes and rotors too. Thanks, Mike B. |

I've been wondering about the timing chain. seems like a good time to do it when the radiator is out. |

Good idea! Renew the chain while you are in there. I knew I was forgetting something. Thanks, Mike B. |
