Some guy is interested in my stock michelins but thinks they might rub. Stock D2 size is 255/65/R16. Thx, Dean |

Dean, I ran 255/65-16 Michelin XPCs on my stock 95 D-1 for a couple years. No rubbing in the wheelwells, but I doubt much clearence for chains. They will fit the rim fine and will be a little narrower on the 7" D1 rim. You may have to adjust the steering stops just a little, or not mind a little rubbing when turning at full lock. They definately improve the on-road handling and float better in sand. They are also stickier on slickrock. They will be slightly worse in mud and on snow. |
