PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE.I OWN A 94ES D1 WITH 3.9 AND AUTO.SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT THE REMOTE LOCKING DEVICES HAVE NEVER BEEN TREMENDOUS AS YOU WOULD HAVE TO POINT THEM INTO THE WINDOW TO OPERATE.NOW SINCE THE FITTING OF A SECOND BATTERY SETUP THEY HAVE STOPPED FUNCTIONING AT ALL.I HAVE PLACED NEW BATTERIES IN THEM AND STILL NO JOY.HAVE HEARD THAT THEY MAT REQUIRE REPROGRAMING??HOW??THANKS IN ADVANCE |

... remove battery from the hand-set. Press hand-set button and hold down for at least 10seconds to fully discharge the unit. Clean the batteries and refit them. Point the hand-set at the vehicle and press 'alarm' repeatedly until the doors lock. Hand-set now syncronised with vehicle. [Method is in your hand book] Also ensure you have fitted the correct hand-set battery .. check battery code number. If door buttons are sticking, spray a small amount of WD40 down each mechanism. |
