PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE.I OWN A 94ES D1 WITH 3.9 AND AUTO.SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT THE REMOTE LOCKING DEVICES HAVE NEVER BEEN TREMENDOUS AS YOU WOULD HAVE TO POINT THEM INTO THE WINDOW TO OPERATE.NOW SINCE THE FITTING OF A SECOND BATTERY SETUP THEY HAVE STOPPED FUNCTIONING AT ALL.I HAVE PLACED NEW BATTERIES IN THEM AND STILL NO JOY.HAVE HEARD THAT THEY MAT REQUIRE REPROGRAMING??HOW??THANKS IN ADVANCE

... remove battery from the hand-set. Press hand-set button and hold down for at least 10seconds to fully discharge the unit. Clean the batteries and refit them. Point the hand-set at the vehicle and press 'alarm' repeatedly until the doors lock. Hand-set now syncronised with vehicle. [Method is in your hand book]
Also ensure you have fitted the correct hand-set battery .. check battery code number.
If door buttons are sticking, spray a small amount of WD40 down each mechanism.

You can get better response from the locks by extending the antenna for the lock receiver. If intereseted email me and I will email you the info.
