A while back at MAR I heard a loud grinding and popping noise coming from my left rear. We pulled the wheel and inspected yet we saw nothing. After that, the noise never came back. I assumed that there was a rock stuck behind the wheel or something. Today, after some wheeling, the noise came back. It almost sounds like the shield hitting the wheel but it's not. I can feel a jolt every time the noise happens? Is it the bearings, axel, rear dif, brake caliber or what? Thanks in advance! Neal Glessner |

blake....a CV wouldnt be from your rear... Neal..just try pulling the shafts and see if either of them are broken or show signs of damage. Also, change diff fluid and inspect for little metal pieces. |
