I am looking at a 1998 LSE Discovery with 76k miles, loaded jump seats / sun roofs. I got the dealer down to $11K( I don't think they know what they have) I had a Land Rover dealer do an inspection and it came in with around 2k in repair, but that includes 4 ties at $200 a piece(why are dealers such a rip off) Besides that the car just need a good cleaning and a little TLC, this is a good deal right??? |

If you got it inspected at a Rover dealership and that's all they said, I'd say grab it! Kelly Blue Book shows retail for that year and milage LSE at $17K for PA ($19K if you live in WA).
Still get the VIN and run it through carfax as this starts to fit into the "too good to be true" category. Maybe they DO know what they have and it's been knocked around.

Sounds great, however as always 'Buyer Beware'! Dealers are rarely so numb as to not know what they have, especially with all the info they need in that little blue (or yellow) book. Good Luck. JMcD |
