OK, I'm going to have the manifold welded this weekend and need to get a torx socket for the bolts. Anybody have this info stored in there brain? I looked through the Message Archives with no luck. Oh, the Disco is a 97, if there is a difference between the years. Thanks Doug |

If all else fails, I've gone to the hardware store before not know what socket I need and they've let me take individual sockets out into the parking lot to test until I find the one that fits... |

The manifold bolts are a 12mm 12 point socket. The cast iron of the manifolds is a REALLY cheap material and it probably will not hold even if you are able to weld it. Have seen one person use J.B. weld and it held together when I saw it. May want to invest in a new or used manifold now instead of doing the job twice. |
