After yanking out my dash to replace my heater core and putting it all back, my turn signals don't work. The lights, brights, hazards all work but no turn signal. Checked fuses, all good. Anyone have an idea? Relay possibly? Where is the turn signal relay? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

In removing your dash (a royal bitch) you probably removed your steering column surround as well. In doing so you may have inadvertently disconnected your signal switch. Remove the plastic surrounding your steering column and remove and reconnect your turn signal arm and switch (relatively easy). Hope that cures it- Good luck |

Thanks, and yes it sucks in ways that most things cannot suck. This weekend I did what you suggested and nothing changed. I'm wondering if the relay isn't shot. The hazards work, no fuses are blown, no bulbs are out. Are the flshers and the hazards controlled by different relays? I don't have any documentation other than the POS owners manual so I'm sort of in the dark about which relay it is and where it's located. There's only about 900 of them under the dash. |

i have a similar problem. same scenario: replaced my heater core and now my left brake light isn't working. could be a coincidence because i didn't exactly check to see if it was working before. but i've checked all the fuses and replaced every bulb in the rear of my truck, but it still doesn't work??? |

Since I have an RRC my workshop manual wouldn't be much help-sorry. I believe flashers/hazard use same relay but couldn't say for sure. I'd suggest buying a manual as tracing wiring is not my idea of fun. Sorry- GregH |

According to my ETM, the 2 fuses for signals-F1 and F3 go through the hazard switch into the fusebox through the flasher unit and then off to the signal switch , back to the fuse box for the multi-function unit, to the lamps and then to ground. So , if the hazards are working, then the flasher unit is ok, i would check the connector at the stalk switch. Hope this helps! |

Excellent info!! Thanks a bunch. I guess I'll be yanking that stalk out again and checking it and the wires to the fusebox. Thanks again! |

Related idea- while working on clock light I removed hazard light switch. This kills blinkers and hazard as 8 or 10 wires go thru this little switch. Suggest make sure flasher multiplug is connected firmly and correctly. |
