Discovery 1997, after running for 3-4 hrs. It's unable to run idle while the engine temperature still normal. During stop with idle gear, I have got to keep slightly accelerating. What is the possible causes? |

Are you getting the Check Engine Light? How's your MAF Sensor connection? |

It should be Ok. After I shut down the engine about 20-30 minutes the engine again operate perfectly, can run idle. It seem that this problem occured due to heat build up. Thank you very much |

Check stepper motor (aka: idle air control IAC) - sounds like it is not letting any combustion air in when the truck is idling down and the butterfly is closed.
Check simple stuff to like condition of air filter.
