Discovery 1997, after running for 3-4 hrs. It's unable to run idle while the engine temperature still normal. During stop with idle gear, I have got to keep slightly accelerating. What is the possible causes? |

Are you getting the Check Engine Light? How's your MAF Sensor connection? |

It should be Ok. After I shut down the engine about 20-30 minutes the engine again operate perfectly, can run idle. It seem that this problem occured due to heat build up. Thank you very much |

Check stepper motor (aka: idle air control IAC) - sounds like it is not letting any combustion air in when the truck is idling down and the butterfly is closed. Check simple stuff to like condition of air filter. Bill |
