I had the Disco on the lift this weekend and thought of something - How would it run if the rear drive shaft were removed? Theoretically, it would just become a Two Wheel Drive, fine for the roads, right? Just a thought. |

Your T-case is going to make some nasty noises.. It isn't a good idea.. Also, I noticed that it handled a little different |

So you've done it then. What about Taking off the front instead? |

Still going to make some racket.. Yes, I have.. You really want to run both of them.. I'm sure that it isn't good for the T-Case.. |

I was really just wondering for emergency situations. BTW, Eric, I just sent you and Robbie an email. |

it'll run fine with one shaft if you need it to. I just wouldn't make it a permanent thing. There's really no reason to try to make it 2WD. |

Ya, if you have to run with one shaft ( like if you break one out on a trail ) then just lock the t-case and run on one shaft.. But, to drive around like that every day wouldn't be a good idea at all. I have my home address on my profile so I won't get it till I get home tonight... Will reply then.. |
