I'm looking to get some jump seats for my 98 Disco. I have found some great seats but they are from a 95 with rear air. Question is, can I install jump seats from a Disco with rear air in a Disco without rear air? Thank for your replies in advance. Jim |

You need the brackets for the one on the drivers side from a non-rear air truck. otherwise they bolt in, just get everything from the donor truck. Dom bought one of my seats and we swapped it over in an hour or so. Now I have an SD6 and he has an SE6. You need torx wrenches and a trim puller but otherwise it is strait forward. Ron |

Thanks Ron. Do you think I can get the mounting hardware for the driver's side only from the dealer or might someone have a better idea or should I say less expensive. I would really like to see this work. Thanks again, Jim |

Tip: I used hot glue to keep the re-fitted interior trim panels from rattling after re-assembly. |

Thanks Tom, I wouldn't have thought of that but will do if I do this project. Did you put jump seats in your Disco? If so, was it from an air equipped unit? I'm still a little timmid about trying it. (more coments needed) Jim |

I installed one on the passenger side of my 96 SD. I wanted to keep the bin on the drivers side because I didn't like the way the jump seat stowed on that side. Ordered mine and installed it in about an hour. Easy job but wanted to go slow as I wasn't too sure about what I was in for. Turned out to be no problem. No rear AC. -Tom |
