I have a '00 D2 and I also experienced a intermittent SRS warning light but reset itself after ignition off. I have an appointment with the dealer on Dec. 2nd. |

Got pulsing SRS light on my 95 DI. I had been washing under hood and redoing battery cables when it started but it hasn't reset yet. Manual says must consult "testbook". Dealer I assume. |

I had the same problem (95 D1). The dealership told me it showed a fault in the elctric line. They replaced the entire wiring harnes for the mere price of $2500! Good thing it wasn't anything serious! Because my wife drives the kids in it I wasn't going to take a chance of an airbag not coming on and killing my wife. - Jay - |

I read somewhere that the SRS light can be triggered by voltage changes, i.e. battery cable is removed or altenator problems. Apparently a shop with some expensive diagnostic computer is the only person who can reset the SRS. I can't remember which equipment. Assuming there is no fault in the system. -Tommy |
