Interested in knowing if the Garmin Streetpilot III has a breadcrumb, or back track feature for off road use? How do you use this feature?

thanks,

I would imagine that it must. My little Garmin GPS12 which is pretty much bottom of the line base model does.

No the SPIII does not have the breadcrumb trackback facility and is not suitable for offroad use. I recently did the comparison between it and the GPS V and III+ which are more suited for off the beaten track use.
The concensus was to have two units, one for around town ie. SPIII and one for offroad ie. V or III+.
Pity, as I cant justify owning two GPS's for two different jobs.

I had heard that the streetpilot had some capability to track back? Interesting that it won't?

Streak, I'm a little curious..Why do you visit Rover enthusiast sites, like Discoweb, if you have gone through so much trouble to assemble and promote a site that reflects total negativity of Rovers.
