Hello,
I have recently purchased a homelink for my 96 disco 1. My truck has a 3 wire connector and the homelink has a 2 wire connector. Are these two compatible. Most disco's are prewired for homelink, so I thought this would just be a simple plug in. Is my truck compatible with the homelink? Also, I have no idea how to program the homelink to work with my garage door opener. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Evan

John,

Please e-mail me so I can send you some zipped jpgs of what the unit looks like installed and the pages from the owners manual.

Homelink also works with X10 if you have a remote X10 transceiver, so you can program the buttons to turn shit on in your house when you come home.

I simply cut the connection of the Homelink, and connected it with a 9 volt battery. Went to Radio Shack and bought the 9 volt connecter. Works fine. Just means that its on all the time though.
