Looking for Bilstein model to fit a 95 Disco with 4 inch lift and drop cones? Where's the best place to purchase these shocks?
Thanks

Why bilstein??? You may want to look into some Rancho 9000s for your rear and 5000s for your front, they are adjustable on the rears as well...Good Luck!!

I have Rancho 9000's now and they SUCK! I've broken two and the dampening blows. After 1000 miles they feel like they have 100,000 miles on them. Are the 7100s the only ones I can use?

THanks

Rancho's Suck!!! James you already know this. Billy's are expensive but worth every dime!!! A little under $200 a piece but they ROCK!!! Good Luck! I can't afford it just yet, but I will be able to one day. Until then I'll just dream about the 7100 billy's! Good Luck

maybe you should look into why your shocks are breaking.

Rob, What about up travel with the stud extension? Will you bottom out the shock on the upswing? I've been thinking over my options since I've given up on Ranchos myself. I've gone through two rear sets in 10K.

http://expeditionexchange.com/drop/

i've yet to do it as i had rancho's & RTE on the old truck and the OME shocks wouldn't fit.

i plan on ding it on my range rover if i get it lifted into the 4" range.

Guys,

I have the OME 2´´ lift, and am running OMEs longest shocks, the N76 in the rear. They have the same upper mount as LR, and the lower one I fabricated, I thing RTE can provid the lower one.

The ARE soft, but I like them, and when the truck is weighted down in the rear (99%) of the time, they work great.

For articulation pictures, check my gallery, or any trails from Lebanon.

EE also has a nice write-up and comparaison of them...

Shane,
I looked into why they were breaking...it's because they suck! They were breaking at the seam above the bottom cup. The metal just can't stay in one piece. For people who never go off road, they might be fine for a little while.
