I need to change my belt so it will pass inspection and need to know what's the little hints to make it easy. Any tools used to lower the tensioner? |

Just put a 15mm socket and breaker bar on the bolt head on the tensioner and pull it clockwise to loosen the tensioner to remove the belt. Same to loosen the tensioner when you put the new belt on. Before you do it, draw a good diagram of the belt path so you can remember where it goes (or keyword search the archives for a drawing that's been posted previously). As I recall, you unclip the upper fan shroud first to get enough room to work. |
