I'm looking for a printed version, not one on CD.

Where should I look and how much can I expect to pay?

Thanks,

T-

Why not print the CD version?

Because I use a Mac and the CD isn't compatible.

It still would be cheaper to pay someone to print it for you. The CD can be had for about $10 the manual is about $70. Find someone with a digital copier hooked to their computer network.

Where can you get a CD?

Tripp, what kind'a mac you got? I've never heard of a CD not being compatible with a mac. Is it the software?

Tripp,

I have a DII 2000, and would be interested in splitting any costs regarding getting a copy of the workshop manual?

Regards,

Arman.

BW - The Rave CD's are Adobe Acrobat so I would think it would work on a MAC. I really can't see why it wouldn't but then I haven't tried it either.

Here's what I know. I got a CD version and, yes, it is in PDF format, but all of the indexes and tables of contents are in .exe format which the Mac cannot read.

Yes, I could probably print out all of the PDF's and stick them in a binder but I was just trying to see if there was another solution.

I doubt that I want to spend $149 bucks for a bound version. I'll go back and try the CD. Maybe there's a workaround.

Who has the CD and how can one get one? Is it available online or where can I buy one? EBAY?

Tripp, there are Mac applications that will emulate Windows and let you open .exe files.

It's worth having both the CD and printed material. I have printed a copy myself and keep a dirty copy in the garage and another copy I take out on the trail. Try and do it on a duplex capable printer. The D2 workshop manual is over 1,100 pages.

You can run it in virtual PC, but you can not copy the PDFs off and open them directly (on any kind of computer). The RAVE CD uses a modified version of Acrobat Reader. The files must be opened from the CD, using the Reader that is on the CD.

Tripp,

Let me see if I can print a copy for you. It seems to be about 1400 pages with electrics, 1100 without. Let me see if I can print it off of my machine. Give me a day or so.
