My 2001 D2 is leaking an orange oily substance from a plastic resevoir toward the front of the engine compartment. It is a receptacle connecting two hoses that appear to relate to the coolant resevoir. Land Rover tells me it is a coolant leak, but I can't understand why the fluid would be so oily in consistency. Any ideas? Thanks. |

you should still be under warranty - the radiators in the DIIs are bad - have them replace it |

have you felt antifreeze recently? it's very oily to the touch. i know because i've been dealing with a leak around my heater core for about a month now and i'm constantly cleaning it off the floorboard. |
