Anyone out there know of any Rover mechanics in Quad Cities area. Gas was low on 94 Disco, was running great, fueled up and wouldn't start. Towed (humiliated by brothers Chevy)to parents and warmed up Disco thinking gas line froze. We then flushed lines (50/50 water), changed filter, pump working (pumped untile gas clean), changed plugs and still no go and can't find a mechanic to look at it further. Any suggestions?

'warmed up Disco thinking gas line froze.'

Damn! Phrases like that make me so grateful I ended up in California. To think, I bitch when the Jacuzzi cools to 60 overnight! Sorry to hear about your plight.

you don't suspect the starter?
did you get the infamous "tick" when you turned the key?

There is spark. Thanks to the deep cycle battery the starter keeps on crankings on...all day. We used the fuel pump to pump the bad fuel untile there was no water separation from fuel in tank.
Thanks for ideas...keep 'em comming.

P.S. Steve, I was born in Chula Vista, but grew up in Iowa. Live in Kentucky where it is 20deg warmer here today. Thankfully my dad is taking good care of her(Disco) in the warm Iowa weather for me. He sent me on in the comfort and safety of one of their vehicles.
