Go to the archives and look around, you also might want to try a few searches. I'm honestly not trying to be rude but every thing you need to know is in there at least 4 times over.

I will give you a little help though: http://www.discoweb.org/springshock.htm

There is a bunch of other good stuff in the tech section as well.

Do some research and feel free to come back with any specific questions you might have.

Oh yeah, and the install isn't hard at all.

Matt,

having done it last Saturday on someone else's Disco - if you keep your shocks, it takes 2.5-3 hours. If you change the shocks, it will take about 4-4.5, mostly for cussing and swearing while lining up shock studs, bushings, and washers inside the springs. Longer if your old shocks' retaining nuts are all rusted on top of front shock towers.

a hint - 500lb load straps (not ratchet straps) from K-Mart speed things up a lot. I wouldn't even bother with JCWhitney's or regular off-the-shelf spring compressors from parts stores. There's no need to unbolt the trailing arms or even the sway bars. Watch out for rear sway bar links flipping upwards - you'll have to unbolt the sway bar top mounts to flip'em back. Oh, and with a 2" lift or higher, they will be flipping up on their own while off-roading, so be warned.

Matt,
I cheated. I had a local auto shop install front springs, shocks all the way around and the guy even made the SLS sensor spacers. He had it done the same day I dropped it off and he did all for less than $200.
Cheers

I just did a 2" OME lift on a 2000 Disco about a month ago. I have very little experience with autos. It took me all day saturday and I had to rent some spring compressors. It went well and looks great
