My wife's Disco has developed a low resonate roar in the front right when you reach 35~37 mph. It just started and it is especially poor timing because my RR is in the shop with a rear end problem. Of course the fact that it is 30 degrees and sleeting here in SC makes it hard for me to get under it tonight. Anyone else ever seen/heard this problem? It sounds like it is coming from the front right swivel ball. I need help fast, I am running out of spare vehicles to drive and I am painfully aware of what happens when the axles fail. thanks, Lee |

Hey, mine is doing the same thing. Just noticed it yesterday driving home in the same stuff in Greenville, SC. I just thought it might be buildup or something, will find out after the thaw I guess. |

Usually a humming or groaning sound is bearing related. Try replacing your front wheel bearings first. If that doesn't do it, then suspect the differential. |

Mine seems to have stopped. I guess it was ice buildup or something. Drove it for several hours last night and never did it again. |

Its a bit strange but I'm here in Charlotte and my 96 disco started the same thing on wednesday with all of the ice, I hoped that it was the cold (not holding my breath) and as soon as it dries out around here I was going to check the bearings.. justin |
