Evenin' All, When I was setting up my roof rack, I wanted a low profile 5-gallon gas can holder that didn't stand the can upright so I could reduce the vertical profile and secure the cans very well. I didn't see anything on the market so I made my own. The interesting thing is, when I finished them, they were rigid enough to act as a stand alone holder anywhere they could be mounted. I made some single and double can holders for me and a few friends. They work very well and double as equipment holders when the can isn't in them. If you need somehting like this you can see photos of them on my webpage at: http://www.chrisurquieta.com/gas_can_holders.htm They are made out of welded aluminum, they are very light and I had them powder coated. If you want some but don't want to make 'em yourself, I'll be happy to make some for you. They cost me just under $100 for the single and about $110 for the double. If this is something you would like to have, just drop me a note and I'll have some made for you. Chris U Houston |
