As others indicate, I too am thinking of the extended warranty on a 2000 disco 2. We all know repairs can be costly on these beasts but the question I have is how many people with the extended warranties actually have 3 - $4000.00 in repairs in the 50,000 miles they are in effect. are they truly worth it in MANY cases or just an insurance policy?
