As others indicate, I too am thinking of the extended warranty on a 2000 disco 2. We all know repairs can be costly on these beasts but the question I have is how many people with the extended warranties actually have 3 - $4000.00 in repairs in the 50,000 miles they are in effect. are they truly worth it in MANY cases or just an insurance policy? |

I had a 2000.00(labor and parts) visit with mine.
And mine only has 56000 miles on it. The power steering box and pump were bad. |

The shop replaced my whole engine, because they didn't want to spend days tracking down a coolant leak. That, plus the bogus valve job B.S. at 25k. |
