My discovery has a busted headlight on the passenger side. The replacement arrived today, and I'm going to try and install it this weekend. Is it a simple procedure? Any tips much appreciated! Cheers, Paul. |

Very Easy, Open the Hood, and look down in the cavity behind the headlamp. The Headlamp has three Plastic arms on it that stick through the body work, and rotate about an eighth of a turn to lock it in. Simply unplug both the main headlamp bulb wiring plug, and the wiring harness from the small 5 watt wedge bulb on the lower corner of the headlamp, and the whole assembly will pull Straight out of the front. Oh yes, you will need to remove the side marker lamp as well. If you look down into that same cavity, you will see a ring attached to a spring and hook that clips to the body. Pull on the ring and unclip that hook, and the side marker lamp pulls right out as well. Hope that Helps... ~Scott T. |

Scott T, While your way is "very easy", you're still making it too difficult. This really is a 2 minute job max. 1. Disconnect both plugs from headlight. 2. Simply pull the headlight out from the three plastic arms. You don't need to actually remove them. The headlight has a small ball end that plugs into the plastic plug/arm. 3. Transfer bulb into new headlight. Insert new headlight & connect wires. Done. There's no need to remove side light at all, the headlight will come out fine with the side light in place. |

Mike, thanks for your excellent how-to advice! I still can't believe that I changed it out so easily- no problem at all! Plus I only paid $88 for it- not too bad! Cheers, Paul. |
