Hi there all - i'm new to this bb so apologise if this has been covered b4 (couldn't find anything in the archives tho. The other day i noticed that when I turn on the headlights the instrument panel light did not come on, a couple of days later I noticed that the right front and rear side lights (drivers side on my model) were not working either. I've checked bulbs but they were fine (even replaced them even tho they looked ok) and am now pretty stumped as I don't have a wiring diagram or wire codes. The vehicle is a 1993 200tdi imported from the UK. If anyone can shed some light on where to start looking please do. Thanks Furgus |

Check the under dash fuse box fuse #F2 and F8. I think F8 is the right side lamps. If the fuse is blown, I would check the glove box light-if the lens is broken, it can short out when the glove box is openend with the side lights on, taking out the warning chime, instrument lights and rights side markers. I am assuming the 93 UK version is similar to the 94 NAS model. |
