I have a few cracks and chips in my front glass. I hear that they make a heated windscreen for Disco 1's. Anyone know where and how much?? |

Any autoglass shop should be able to help you. They cost ~double price of plain glass. Double that price, and you have one with the LR-markings...
They're the same as RR classic, except from difference in shading etc.

A little off the topic, but...
On some of the Disco II's they come with the heated seat elements, so you just have to get the switches. Does anyone know if the same is true for the front heated windscreen?

Eric,
You can easily see the wires running through the heated windshield(screen), so I expect a close inspection should tell the tale. I don't know for certain, but I'd tend to doubt the heat elements would be there on a non-CCP windshield.

That wasn't very clear, let me try again. I'd think a heated windshield would be more costly, so I doubt you'd find one on a non-CCP equiped truck, but I don't know for certain. Of course, as you pointed out, some heated seats are installed, and simply lack the hook-up, so I dunno.
