HI, I'm a new Discovery owner, My Discovery is 94 whith 80.000 Miles, The Warning Light for the Transmission oil temperature, turn on in the panel. I changed the fluid, but the problem persist. The same thing happened to me after I buried my rover in a watery hole. You may want to see if the sending unit is any good. Try and locate it using a manual and disconnect it to see if that is the problem. The shop manual will come in useful later on anyways. |

The connector on the overheat sensor tends to corrode and cause the light to come on. Check the connector on the side of the T-case on the LH side, should be 2 seperate pins going to one switch. |
